Holy Angels Parish began ministering to

grown to providing 1,200 food bags a month serving the city of Aurora
and
the surrounding communities. All recipents are interviewed to
determine
eligibility based on Federal guidelines. The pantry recieves a
monthly
allotment of USDA commodities.
Reverse Collection Weekends; The first
weekend
of every month a food collection is gathered at all the weekend
masses.
Especially needed item slips are distibuted during mass the previous
weekend.
Donations may also be dropped off any
Monday
morning. We are always in need of; canned vegetables, toilet
paper,
baby food and diapers and personnel care items. Financial
contributions
may be sent to the parish center, clearly marked, "FOOD PANTRY."
Memorials made to the pantry will be acknowledged to the family as
requested. Most contributions are spent buying food from a Second
Harvest Distributor at .14 a pound.
Volunteers who are able to speak Spanish
are
needed any morning of distribution.
