HOLY ANGELS CATHOLIC CHURCH

The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization. The Order has been called "the strong right arm of the Church," and has been praised by popes, presidents and other world leaders, for support of the Church, programs of evangelization and Catholic education, civic involvement and aid to those in need.

Cardinal Bellarmine Council #4849 was founded on January 20th, 1960. It is named after Saint Robert Francis Romulus Bellarmine, who was a Jesuit theologian, writer, and cardinal. He was canonized in 1930 by Pope Pius XI, and declared a Doctor of the Universal Church in 1931.

The Cardinal Bellarmine Council works closely with Holy Angels Parish, providing funds for various projects. Members, being active participants in their parish, provide mutual aid and assistance to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works.

All the good works we do are informed by our four core principles: Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism.

Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to men 18 years of age or older who are practicing Catholics in union with the Holy See. This means that an applicant or member accepts the teaching authority of the Catholic Church, and is in good standing in the Catholic Church.

​

Meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday and 4th Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m.
